Alex Obregon has spent his career turning financial chaos into clarity, and these days that means leading a team of 14 analysts to make sure every startup they work with gets expert, high-quality financial guidance. After earning his Economics degree from Colorado College and an MBA from University of Oxford's Business School, he built a career that's taken him from investment banking, to impact investing at a family foundation, to venture capital, and ultimately to Forecastr, where he's been for over 5 years.
As Director of Customer Success & Strategic Finance, Alex started on the front lines building financial models for startups and has grown into leading the customer team. He has a rare ability to translate numbers into strategy, something he's honed through years of working with startups at every stage of the journey.
Off the clock, Alex is happiest when he's outside skiing deep powder, exploring mountain bike trails, or just sitting by an alpine lake with a beer. A Colorado native at heart, he'll tell you the mountains and the startup world aren't all that different - both reward people who do the work and know how to solve problems.
